As the world loomed on the edge of oblivion for the coming election, two men took it upon themselves to…record a podcast about video games.
Valkyria Chronicles is up first. Are there shades of Raiders of the Lost Ark in this loosely veiled, occult-influenced re-telling of World War II? And what of the face melting we all loved so much?
Dark Souls III is up next as we chat a bit about the recent expansion, Ashes of Ariandel. Though it might not live up to the pedigree set by Bloodborne‘s The Old Hunters, there is still one more in the pipeline that could give the series the send-off it deserves.
Finally, we close things off with the first in our three part Final Fantasy retrospective. For this week we’re covering Final Fantasy I-VI in anticipation of monumental release of Final Fantasy XV at the end of this very month.
