What it is, kids! This week we’re starting things off with some talk on the previous gen blockbuster, Dishonored. Will the sequel be called Dishonored 2 or Dishonored Too? Only time will tell, but we’re taking a look at the definitive edition in all its glory.
Next up is Valkyria Chronicles, a sort of steam punk reimagining of World War II by way of a tactical RPG. It’s an interesting idea for a game and might be just the thing to pull in those who are a little put off by the dedication that tactical RPGs require.
After this, we move on to Volume, AKA Thomas Was Alone: VR Missions. How has the narrative taken such a hit from Mike Bithell’s spectacular debut, and just how many more dystopias can the world of gaming handle?
Lastly, in our main topic, we’re exploring the idea of mid-level console upgrades in the form of the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One Scorpio. Is it the way of the future or a needless distraction from a more robust upgrade experience?
Listen in and find out!
