Six years after the sleeper hit Limbo took the video game world by surprise, developer Playdead returned with Inside, their critically acclaimed muted platformer about a boy on the run. Originally released in 2016, the game has finally found its way on the Nintendo Switch, and this week, Goomba Stomp’s Managing Games Editor Mike Worby is here to help us review it. Before we get into a full spoiler review of Inside, a game that Rick calls a masterpiece and the best game on the Switch, Patrick and Tim give their first impressions of Octopath Traveller, the turn-based role-playing video game developed by Square Enix which many critics are calling a perfect ode to old school RPGs of the past. In between those two segments, the gang pitches ideas for Nintendo-themed horror films that they would love to one day direct as short films. It’s another jam-packed show with additional reviews of Bomb Chicken, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Crash Bandicoot and so much more!
