This week we're opening things up by chatting about the recently released Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. Do Crash's wacky adventures still hold up all these years later? More importantly, will the surprisingly high sales of Crash Bandicoot in June lead to a modern day sequel? Only time will tell.
Next, we move on to Horizon Zero Dawn. Is it odd that a game this new already feels a bit dated when compared to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a title that was only released one week later? Jibes aside, Horizon is a killer game with a very interesting world to explore. Even with its minor issues, this will easily be among the top of the heap when Game of the Year time comes around.
Finally, we close out by flashing back to that glorious year in gaming known as 1996. The release of the Nintendo 64, the first games in the Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Diablo series, and much, much more. We're deep-diving on nostalgia this week, so if you're a fellow child of the '90s, then tune on in.
