As much as gaming is reaching a new level of maturity and sophistication in the depth of its design and storytelling, the medium is still rife with oodles of embarrassing moments, even today.
The design of a character like Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain points quite clearly to some of the things you might still feel a little uneasy about should a spouse or parent come wandering into the room. The Mass Effect trilogy, Final Fantasy X, and even a classic like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night all have their own skeletons in the proverbial closets of shame, and in this episode John and Mike aim to air them out for public consumption.
But first, the episode opens with a bit of chatter on the fantastic Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
